Jason and I took a road trip this weekend. Our first stop was Mt Washington in New Hampshire. Growing up on the west coast I climbed Mt Lassen at 10,462 feet so I didn't think driving up a 6,138 foot mountain would be so bad...
This sign at the bottom of the road should of giving me a hint.

This photo is really how steep it is. This road really builds trust in a relationship. I was so scared of falling off the side of the road But Jason did an amazing job driving...
and
we made it all the way to the top.
I really thought it was funny that this sign was at the top.

The fall colors are amazing . I love how great the weather was.
Then we headed down to Boston. When ever we go to a bigger city we try and take the trolley tours. Its a great way to see the city in a short amount of time and the freedom to get on and off when we want to see something.
Our tour guide was really fun. He taught me a few new things. Paul Revere never shouted , "The British are coming" because everybody was British. He said alot of really interesting stuff. He also brought a 10lb lobster of the trolley.
This is the State House. Really neat.
Other cool places in Boston
USS Constitution
It was a really fun weekend!

I don't think I would do to well on the drive! Thanks for the warning! BTW - I love your background!
Sounds like a fun little get away! I need one of those...
What an amazing weekend!!!!! I'm jealous!
Great pictures of a wonderful trip. I just love this time of year.
Woo-hoo!! You're amazing conquering your fear and making it to the top even w/o the guardrails--and kudos to Jason for helping you through it all!
The scenery is beautiful--I've yet to see anything like that out this way and have to admit I do miss NY during this time of year! Oh and Boston, such a fun place to visit...miss being that close to such a wonderful city!!
My favorite pic from this post though has got to be the one of you at the top--wow you look amazing. Why are you hiding your skinny-minny beautiful bod behind the sign?? : ) Keep up the good work girl!
I always see cars with bumper stickers that say they climbed Mt. Washington and wonder what the big deal is. Now I know. Yikes! I love those trolley tours in Boston. They help you get acquainted with the city and the drivers know all kinds of stuff.
BTW-I agree with the previous post. You look great in the picture.
How fun!! I want a vacation! I would not do well on the drive up the mountain...I would probably miss all the scenery with my eyes closed!
Oh,I love those colors. Boston is so fun, I enjoyed looking at your pictures and remembering. And I agree with Zippy, you look fabulous and should be proud of yourself! I would not have done well driving up that steep road, I would have closed my eyes!
